[attr="class","appcatsub3"]PERSONALITY [attr="class","appcat3"]A stoic and straight-faced kind of guy, Dominic grew up under strict parentage and had his life structured to military precision (his father was a general) from a very young age. Obedience was mandatory and emotions were frowned upon, resulting in a child that resembled a tiny soldier, and later on a teenager who was extremely - if not excessively - bull-headed and rebellious. At age 34 though, he's mellowed out considerably and is most comfortable (if you can even call it that) with orders and routine, and works best when all that's required of him is laid out clearly so he can follow it to the best of his ability. Perhaps that can also be seen as enjoying being numb?Even so, Dominic's sturdy (if not stubborn) demeanour hides a fiery determination, though it has been dampened and tamed by years of forceful suppression in his youth. If allowed the time and freedom, he can become greatly impassioned towards a cause that means something to him, and will champion for its rights or whatever it needs with all his strength. And he has a lot of strength in him. |

The user is bonded to a familiar whose form is that of a large dog resembling a GSD-Doberman mix. Its strength and intelligence are greater than that of a regular dog, though it cannot speak. The user is able to communicate with their familiar telepathically, though the familiar cannot respond in full sentences, and can only send the gist of its intentions in return. The familiar is not mortal, but has a definite tenacity and will "die" once its damage threshold has been reached. Once the familiar has "died", it cannot be summoned to the user's plane of existence again til the next day, and the user must spend the night in meditation in order to ensure the familiar's continued existence. The familiar can be summoned and un-summoned at will and will recover its health when not summoned. However, in order to summon the familiar, the user is required to spill their own blood - the exact amount is unknown, but a ritual book states "one mouthful". |
