→ if there’s such a thing as an UNNERVINGLY OPTIMISTIC person, it’s definitely palla. somehow, there’s a brighter side to everything even if perhaps her way of displaying it isn’t straightforward. she’s the kind to use generous SNARK in equal parts to KIND WORDS to keep people motivated and gets through each day by trying to help at least one person form a smile. ( though this snarkiness could also be attributed to BOLD HONESTY. ) although the young woman doesn’t have much by way of close friends, she notes the people that continue to pop up in her life and subconsciously makes an effort to remember their habits with the hope of being able to HELP them someday. that’s not to say, however, that the girl is in any way perfectly friendly all 365 days of the year. just like anyone else, palla suffers from bad days and gloomy moods, noticeably aggravating her IMPATIENCE which occasionally leads to verbal fights. she’s STUBBORN and BULL-HEADED when things don’t go the way she expects and is quick to flare up if someone catches her off-guard. most of the time, she is CALM, potentially to the point of being a little spaced-out. if her thoughts are wandering though, it’s typically toward WORK or what domestic matters need taking care of either at her shared apartment or family home both, which she tends to travel between depending on the spread of her shifts. with palla’s tendency to drift, comes occasional SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS and SHORT TERM MEMORY; if not paying attention and confronted with a sudden conversation she may display a brief bout of SHYNESS until she manages to grasp hold of the situation and work out what’s going on (and been said). | |||

OVERVIEW. → a power with largely domestic uses, palla is capable of boiling water electromagnetically using brainwaves. the time it takes to boil is greatly dependent on the amount attempting to raise, however with practice she’s become capable of boiling a typical pot/saucepan of water in seconds. unfortunately, given the medium used to enact her powers control is an issue and spikes in emotion can influence any nearby water systems: which, with regards to most organisms being made up of water, can be catastrophic. fortunately, palla is a typically calm girl so most incidents arise only out of impatience in domestic situations like cooking and ironing. similarly, her power can have adverse effects upon her health; it isn’t uncommon for palla to awaken dehydrated and suffering a headache after a particularly bad nightmare, and most nights it’s impossible to leave the quilt on. |
