[attr="class","appcatsub3"]PERSONALITY [attr="class","appcat3"]Despite having lived life in grandeur, Jules is OPPORTUNISTIC. To him, there is always something to take, something to better, and everything has a use. He is well aware that there are others who can use him, but he will always take the highest bidder, the one who can benefit him the most. His analytical and INTELLIGENT mind is always in the works, in every action, every phrase uttered. As ruthless as he can be at times, he isn't completely without morals. There are many lines that he is willing to cross, in terms of legality to the letter of the law, but he is above petty gang squabbles and would not touch anything involving the sanctity of life with a fifty feet pole. Beyond business, however, he is a GENTLEMAN. He is always pleasant company, always appearing cheerful and engaging. He has no problems with playing around, be it with money or bodies. IMPULSIVE almost to a fault, he is always willing to try new things, and can easily be talked into spending his money (not that he seems to be short of it anytime soon). He enjoys the simple pleasures of life, never really having experienced monetary hardships that others do. Still, there is an air of INDIFFERENCE around him. He has many acquaintances, few friends, and perhaps maybe only two trusted ones. He builds a wall around him, to protect himself - abandonment issues aside, he simply does not want to get hurt again. Though preferring to keep everyone at an arms reach, he still hopes for the one day that he will find someone who he can trust wholeheartedly, who he is willing to do anything for. Such a romantic idea that he entertains in his mind, though he knows that, realistically, it is near impossible to achieve. |
[attr="class","appcatsub3"]POWER [attr="class","appcat3"]EXTRASENSORY PERCEPTION. The ability to gain information through external and independent means. OVERVIEW. The term extrasensory perception encompasses abilities that allow one to gain information about the past, present and future. If Jules focuses all his mental capabilities, he is able to visually imagine details (personal and impersonal) of whatever he is searching for. When he infers data in this manner, Jules will often enter a trance-like state, almost daydreaming, leaving him physically vulnerable. He is also heavily affected by the emotions occurring during his visions. Sometimes, the visions simply do not come, no matter how much he tries. As well, he is able to gather such information using physical contact of a person or an object, at a much lesser strain on his body. Unfortunately, such abilities can come innately, without intention. He often finds himself overwhelmed with information, by accidental triggering of his abilities. Headaches are a common occurrence and he often wears gloves in order to counter accidental psychometry. Information overload is a daily occurrence for him, but he manages as best as he can. His visions of the past are accurate, able to pinpoint exact details. He is able to see the present, in the manner of flashes. He commonly uses it to have a pseudo enhanced senses, especially in times of danger. Visions of the future are not as accurate or indicative, often hazy and often leaving him with more questions. |
