That said, she does hold grudges - they're just about things that are genuinely important to her. She's steadfast in what morals and beliefs she does hold and isn't about to let people waltz all over her. To top it all off, Eve enjoys being mysterious and has her secrets she likes to keep. She's also incredibly superstitious, because when one believes in one's craft, they sell it better. Eve owns her own shop located in District 2, 'Madame LeStrange's Curios and More', which caters to her entrepreneurial spirit. |
[attr="class","appcatsub3"]POWER [attr="class","appcat3"]DIVINATION. the ability to acquire knowledge by touching or handling an object.OVERVIEW. this ability allows eve to see the past and future of any object she handles, though the future is often too variable for these predictions to be accurate. the past, however, is unchanging. objects must be held in the hands for eve to gain information from them, which comes to her as a vision of sorts. these visions typically last between five and thirty seconds, though they can seem longer to eve as she's the one experiencing them. while the complete history of an object is able to be divined, going back too far into the past causes mental strain, sometimes lasting for 24 hours plus. visions are stronger and more readily available if they carry with them some emotional significance. entire scenes can be watched of a boy losing his ball, or clutching his teddy as his parents argue. visions can be navigated so that objects can be traced. these visions are only from the point of view of the holder of the object, and predictions are more accurate if the object that is being used as a host is always on someone's being. |
