[attr="class","appcatsub3"]PERSONALITY [attr="class","appcat3"]In two word, Kou is paradoxically apathetic. How does that work? Well, he does not care, but at the same time he does...to an extent. Perhaps it is because it is extremely difficult to be a true nihilist. It goes against the human nature to care about one's self, at the very least. But at the same time, it is also rather difficult to go beyond one's self, to look at the other and empathize. The effort is draining, a part of himself that he could have used for something else like...napping, or something. What was the point of doing anything, anyway?You may have noticed that Kou is a philosopher, or was at least trained to be one. That was his bachelor's degree, a piece of paper in a plastic framed stored somewhere in his parents' home far away from this city. It does not mean much other than it was the reason his way of thinking is rather screwed up. Some would remark that he is thoughtful, or cynical. Doubt might be the better word. The names of those high class philosophers have long been lost, but he vaguely remembers the questions they asked--about the universe, the self, being, human, our purpose. Ah, he wished he could be ignorant again. Less baggage. But honestly he's also a confused, maybe a trying to be edgy early twenty something that's just trying to find his way in life. He curses a lot, as one may have noticed, but does not pepper it so much that it makes him sound stupid. Kou does not exert effort to make friends, but deep down he actually wants people to talk to, or more of someone to listen to his ramblings. He has yet to find that one individual that could help him make sense of all the jargon swimming in his mind, someone that could set straight those four years of headaches and contemplation and more headaches. He's a very overwhelmed boy, please help him. |
[attr="class","appcatsub3"]POWER [attr="class","appcat3"]AEROKINESIS. The power to control air and consequently the winds. Sounds great on paper but can be surprisingly unremarkable in real life.OVERVIEW. Kou has the ability to use the air around him to do particular things. Most of the time it is to carry lightweight objects so that he doesn't have to move to get them. This, of course, has limits. Generally, if the object can be carried with one hand and in relative ease, it can be carried by his ability. Such items include remote controls, pieces of paper, and particular debris. If he is not using the wind to carry something though, then his powers become more flexible. He can create a forcible push, enough to knock someone over. This takes a chunk of energy though and he cannot do it continuously. Actually, he can't use his abilities with too much force period. It's really normally used for lighthearted stuff. He has yet to get into situations that would make him use it for combat. So unfortunately, he cannot float. It's too much work. |
