about Mathieu bears enough intellect to last him through his daily regiment, but not quite enough to know that buckling down and working to help better society was a far safer choice than working as gun for hire. But to hear it from him, the latter is foolishness; corruption breeds even in the friendliest of corners. While not a hero in the slightest, he doesn't toe the line of corruption either. Think of him as an antihero, if you must. He has no loyalties to bind him, ergo he's a bit of a drifter. Home to him has been set in district four, the active night life which keeps him occupied. For the right price, he can be loyal to a cause until his obligations have been met, but it's always good to keep an assassin at arm's length, no matter how good his mixed drinks may be.

While of French-Italian origin, Mathieu lacks typical pride from his motherland. He does, however, speak the languages fluently. Currently he lives alone in his own cozy little apartment. If anything, he's considered getting a cat. (Which I may give him one down the road? I don't know man, I don't know.) He's a 27 year old bartender who's taken the job of "exterminating" peoples' problems. Born on November 21st, his birthday falls on the Scorpio-Sagittarius cusp. Much like the Sagittarius, he works best as a marksman -- a sniper, if you will. And like the marksman, his ability aligns with the idea of hunting, as he's gifted with pathfinding: the ability to track others so long has he has one of their personal items within his possession. Overall, he's a pretty mysterious guy, but don't ever challenge him to a drinking contest -- he'll happily drink anyone under the table.

friends As far as this category goes, friends are few and far between for a man who makes a living through death. He's capable of attachments to others on an amiable level, but don't be surprised if he remains emotionally reserved. Even if it weren't for his work, he's still a bit socially awkward to begin with. It's not that he's incapable of making friends, it's just that not too many people care to stick around when they know they have a murderer in their midst. Some kind of go to the assumption that he gets a sick thrill out of killing, but if anything, he feels indifferent. People are bound to die someday, after all. But those who stick by his side are shown fierce, unwavering loyalty. It's really all just a matter of patience with this man. But be warned, don't ever challenge him to a drinking contest if you value your liver. He won't go easy, even on a friend.

enemies They're all dead by now. Goody-two-shoes, law enforcement, or even those who had ties to former targets of his can all fall into this category. People who view him as an enemy are treated merely like pests. He remains condescending in his actions towards them and has no qualms of squashing them like the insignificant fleas he views them to be. However, he's not above viewing others as potential enemies. People that fall into such a category will often be met with scathing sarcasm, hostile words, and an even colder disposition. As long as you don't cheat him out of money or bring harm to those he has brought himself to care about, you're fine.

lovers While highly difficult, this field isn't impossible. Mathieu has never exactly romanced anyone, and his only experience is seeing things in novels. It's not that he isn't capable, it's just that he hasn't exactly found anyone who strikes his fancy. He's more or less attracted to women, but even then, it falls into a state of uncertainty as to whether or not he views certain people merely on a level of admiration, or if he views them in a manner of attraction. On top of that, he isn't the best at taking hints in regards to himself, so people have to be pretty darn direct with him. But if they can manage to catch him, they'll have a fairly sated, affectionate beau willing to give life and limb simply to make them smile.
