[attr="class","appcat3"]Crappp, was the only thought running through Ren’s head at the moment as she searched around her small room. It was currently a mess as she had torn through it like a hurricane, trying to find a slip of paper she sworn she had. She hoped it was on her desk. It wasn’t. Or was it on her night table? No it wasn’t, and no it didn’t fall under anything. She checked and now her floor was as clean as the day she first moved in. Or it was before she threw everything back down there. Hissing swear words after every why why why, Ren gave up for the moment and fell back on her messy bed with a groan.

“Ah man.”

Ren rubbed her eyes with the heels of her palms as she tried retrace her steps. On Saturday she was a bar with friends and flirting with a really, really hot chick. Like out burn the sun hot. And she gave Ren her number before leaving. But, Ren was also drunk. Drunk enough to forget the last part for awhile. But not enough to forget how soft her lips were when she pressed a kiss goodnight on Ren’s cheek.

“Such an idiot.”

She’s pretty sure she had it in her leather jacket or jeans for a day or two, but checking all of the pockets and everywhere else in this room, it was officially missing.

Another frustrated groan as Ren tried to go through the last few days again. She had some work, did some studying for the LSAT, and also stopped by at David’s for family time. Oh wait... The light bulb in Ren’s head went off as she quickly sat up. She checked the time on her phone, only evening. David should be at work now and Jason was probably home with S’mores. Good since two heads would be better to comb through the house.

Jumping back up, Ren grabbed her keys, phone, and wallet and rushed out the door for the nearest bus stop. One bus ride to district 3 later and she was at the townhouse she grew up in. At first it was quiet in the small house, but the soft thuds of S’mores came down the stairs just as Ren closed the door. S’more greeted her with a soft headbutt against the leg. Despite the urgent feeling rattling her brain around, Ren made sure to slow down to give the adorable rottweiler a good ear scratch.

“Heya S’more-borge,” Ren cooed. “Is Jase-case home?”

While she knew the small bfoof S’mores gave was just her being excited, she took it as agreement. Ren skipped every other step her way up before silently creeping down the hall and slowly opened the door at the end. Instead of what she was expecting of the younger Eastwood, Jason was fast asleep. On any other day, she would’ve left him alone and chill with the rottie beside her. But this was an emergency and she needed help. She could handle whatever he threw at her afterward.

A deep breath in and... “Jasonnn!”

She did a quick sprint toward the bed and a small hop. Ren dropped herself hard enough at the end of his bed to bounce a little while S’mores barked in excitement of her chaos. She then clapped her hands loudly enough before making the universal begging gesture and very fake apologetic face when he woke.”I really need your help bro.”
